Online Course “Inductive Bible Study”stmweb
INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY
This course introduces the student to study the Bible inductively using the basic approach of observation, interpretation and application. The student will explore the skill of asking questions about the biblical text using basic bible tools, and exploring relevant background material, noting the variety of literature, understanding the structure, and observing themes from the text. Some bible study methods may be explored. There will be ample hands-on practice on a number of specific biblical texts.
This course is particularly helpful to equip those who intend to or are leading church Bible studies and for those who want to acquire a more focused manner of studying and interpreting the Bible.
