Dr Tan Ee Yan is a faculty member in Old Testament studies at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM) and a pastor of the Lutheran Church in Malaysia.
She completed her Ph.D. at Luther Seminary, St Paul, Minnesota, USA. She received her Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological College, Singapore, and also holds a Master of Arts (Theological Studies) from Princeton Theological Seminary, USA. Her research interests are in the areas of biblical prophetic literature, biblical interpretation, biblical theology and Lutheran theology. She is also focused on pedagogy in theological education, aiming to make the seminary classroom a holistic, relational, and reflective experience.
At STM, she enjoys connecting with students and hopes to guide them in discovering their own academic and vocational interests.
