Free Hybinar : Hope in a Chaotic and Wounded World “A Hopeful Theological Agenda and Responsible Theology in Times of Disruption”
Date & Venue
27 August 2025
8pm – 9.30pm (STM) – Hybrid format
Summary
In an era of religious polarization and social fragmentation fueled by misleading theologies and harmful political ideologies, what does responsible theological reflection and education look like? Dr. Kit invites us to envision theological formation grounded in eschatological hope. This session addresses the unique challenges facing churches globally and locally in doing theology and advancing theological education: training pastors for contemporary ministry, maintaining theological identity amid cultural pressures, and developing public theology for a divided society. The aim is to invite further conversation among theological educators, seminarians, and church leaders seeking to navigate contemporary ministry challenges with theological integrity.
