
Rev. Lee Tan Peng is an ordained minister of the Chinese Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Malaysia, with more than ten years of experience in pastoral ministry. With a pastoral heart, academic rigor, and a deep passion for theological education, she joins Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (STM) with a steadfast commitment to equip and nurture future pastors and church leaders for faithful and transformative ministry.
Her research interests lie primarily in historical theology and church history, with a particular focus on Wesleyan theology. Her Master of Theology thesis, John Wesley’s Understanding of the Restoration and Renewal of Imago Dei (in Chinese), was published in 2019 as part of the STM Series.
Rev. Lee’s academic journey reflects an integration of faith, scholarship, and ministry. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Malaya (2005), a Master of Divinity from Malaysia Bible Seminary (2010), and a Master of Theology from Seminari Theoloji Malaysia (2019). She has completed her Doctor of Theology at Trinity Theological College (TTC), Singapore, where she further deepened her study in Wesleyan theology.
李丹萍牧师是马来西亚卫理公会华人年议会的牧师,拥有超过十年的牧会经验。她以牧者的心怀、严谨的学术精神与对神学教育的深切热忱,加入马来西亚神学院,致力于培育并装备忠心事奉、生命更新的未来牧者与教会领袖。
她的研究兴趣主要集中在历史神学与教会历史领域,特别专注于卫斯理神学。其神学硕士论文《上帝形像的恢复与更新:约翰卫斯理的理解》于2019年出版,收录于STM学术丛书系列。
李牧师的学术历程展现了信仰、学术与事奉的整合。她于2005年毕业于马来亚大学建筑学士学位,2010年获马来西亚圣经神学院道学硕士学位,2019年完成马来西亚神学神学硕士学位。她目前亦已完成新加坡三一神学院的神学博士学位,在研究过程中进一步深化了对卫斯理神学的探讨。
