Course Synopsis:

This course explores the theories and practices of leadership in church and missions, especially in contexts of cultural diversity. It draws from leadership research and cultural studies integrated with biblical reflection. it challenges students to reflect and rethink their personal and leadership practices, hence facilitating growth for ministry, work, and God’s mission.

Lecturer: Rev. Dr Chan Nam Chen

Rev. Dr Chan Nam Chen serves as director-at-large for AsiaCMS. He is a practitioner having served in the past as a cross-cultural church planter, trainer, senior pastor, and denominational leader. He regularly teaches as an adjunct lecturer in different seminaries. He has a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and his research interests is in missiology, church and culture, intercultural leadership, and migration studies.
