The Library aims to cater to different learning styles, with spaces to suit quiet study, group work and other needs.
If you have some serious work to do, just pick one of the tables, desks or carrels provided on both the Upper Level and Lower Level in the Library. If all you are after is a comfy reading spot, then look no further than the Library. We have a number of cozy spots for you to read, rest and relax. On top of these, the Library has air-conditioning—this is the place to go to on hot days or warm nights!
Plug points are located near most of the seating areas so you can bring your own laptops to use in the Library.

The seating areas and other Library resources/facilities are for common use. Please be considerate by returning all library items to their correct locations after use and clearing all personal items from the seating areas.

Do not hoard library books at the seating areas; the staff reserve the right to shelve any books “reserved” at the seating areas.

Gentle reminder: Devices with audio (e.g. mobile phones, laptops) must be kept on silent mode while in the Library. Please do not use these devices anywhere within the Library (including Periodicals and Discussion Rooms) for audible conversations and/or playback.
